Tanita 1584 Digital Scale White Review

I like this scale for daily cat weighing. They love it too! They think it's a good place to stay. The weights seem reliable as they are fairly constant to the 2nd decimal place. I'm glad he exists.

Easy to set up and use, high accuracy. Ounces were needed to check for weight changes in small pets because they had a history of fluctuations and wanted to catch problems before they became serious problems. The same model used by the local vet, so an apples-to-apples comparison.

We ordered a scale and it was far from ok. We sent it back and the replacement is accurate but consistently weighs an ounce. We used it to weigh our newborn who was slowly gaining weight and we didn't want to keep going to the pediatrician to use the scale during flu season.

We weighed our baby on a hospital loan that was very accurate (it was the same type of $800 scale used in the ICU). We had to return the hospital scale but we wanted to keep weighing our baby so we bought these. Claimed accuracy was only 1/2 ounce, but for our purposes this was perfectly adequate.
