This lamp has the right brightness for reading without disturbing others in the RV. It's so easy to enable/disable. Because of the flexible neck, it can be moved to other positions or out of the way altogether. My other reading lamp above the bed was too bright and so reflective that I couldn't read my Kindle with it. This light works perfectly.

This product is well packaged, has good instructions and is easy to install. They are the perfect replacement for very bright ceiling lights in a bedroom on wheels. These lamps are dimmable and make excellent bedside reading lamps. They are not bright enough to illuminate a room. In our case this is not a problem since we have a ceiling lamp that takes care of this need.

Overall this is a very good product. It's stylish and works well for a few days after installation. The installation is not for beginners as you will have to run cables in the wall. The small screw that attaches the light to the base is very easy to lose and difficult to install. The instructions therein are general and do not describe which part of the light is the flashlight switch. It took some trial and error to determine that this ring spins in the blue light of night.

I have recently purchased 4 more of these lights. I use them in my house with a 12 volt DC power supply. They are mounted as bedside reading lights. They are bright, dimmable and adjustable by touch. I'm not very enthusiastic about the touch function, I tend to press lightly, too hard, not in the right place or too often; you have the idea But we liked that we added a USB port on either side of the bed. I installed them in a Class B motor home. In theory I like these lights, but there are a few things I don't like :1) One of them appears randomly, for no reason. Luckily it didn't happen in the middle of the night and woke me up, but I often find it on even if it was off beforehand and no one was in the van. 2) The touch interface is a bit finicky.
