Bought to make it easier to identify luggage at the airport baggage carousel. For this purpose it is perfect. But in practice they make the grip too heavy. If you have a very thin bag handle that hurts your hand, these large bags provide the padding you need. But for luggage your handles are okay with, they get in the way of a quick grab and don't close easily. I believe that luminous luggage tags are the best solution for luggage identification.

I have several canvas bags with adjustable length nylon straps. The problem was that the straps are adjusted so you have to snap the two straps together to get the "handle" to the correct length. (Just grab one of the straps and the handle gets too long and the bag loses its balance.) These bandages allow me to hold the straps together and lift the bag with ease. Also, the wraps serve as a good soft grip for carrying bags.

Get a great piece of soft luggage by sewing one of these onto one of the two straps. It was spoiled by loaders and the latches didn't close. So I cut it off and now I'm using one of these. There was also a large holdall that had two straps that weren't wrapped around and it was a hassle to keep the straps together and they always got in the way - now they stick together and the bag is easier to carry. Made of wetsuit material, very comfortable.
