My husband is not a fan of flip flops or sandals. However, due to an ingrown toenail, he required an open and adjustable toe box. You are perfect. Support and memory foam on the bottom. The Velcro holds well and the soles are rough so they don't slip. I also didn't notice the stars and striped Free Dom inscriptions on each shoe. Husband is also a veteran. so perfect in every way.

I'm 14 feet tall and I don't wear wide shoes, but the sandals are a little tight on my foot. I haven't had to adjust the leg strap on any of my other slides. The reason I returned these flip flops is because I couldn't wear them for more than 2 minutes. Depreciation is a joke. Looks great. but quickly emptied. SUPER happy with this slide! I usually wear comfortable men's shoes in a size 7 and ended up choosing a size 8, which I'm happy with because they fit perfectly! Enough room on the sides to keep my toes/heels from hanging down. Extremely comfortable foam and the bottom isn't super hard rubber, but you can definitely go outside in these flip flops. Just what I wanted for home/quick errands!
