Absolutely atrocious

Couldn't be more displeased with this. It does not uncurl regardless of how much weight you place on it or put it in "direct sunlight" as they say in the description. The way that it was rolled for shipping makes it impossible for it to grip to any carpet. This product should not be available for sale since it serves no purpose other than more trash I need to take out this week. Hopefully others see this so they can avoid being bamboozled.

Pros
  • Helps out with chair when you have carpet.
Cons
  • Not suitable for high pile carpets

Does the job for my opinion

I am using this product for my computer desk chair that I use for my studies down in my game room, which has carpeting. I wouldn't call it shaggy carpet, but it does have a fair amount of padding underneath it. This particular mat is quite thin, and as you can see from the photo, the mat will actually compress into the carpet after sitting in the chair for a bit (better than damaging the carpet, right?). I weigh about 200lbs. In hindsight I would have probably sought out a thicker pad for…

Pros
  • My husband is a big guy and this mat is very supportive even for him. So glad we bought this.
Cons
  • It comes rolled up. I had to set heavy objects on it for 5 days so it would flatten

Smelled Terrible and Would Never Lay Flat

It smelled so bad that I couldn’t keep it in my home office while waiting for it to flatten out (it ships tightly rolled up). I had to stash it in my closet because the smell was so strong. It never ended up flattening out and my chair left deep indentions on it, so it was basically useless. Returned it to get my money back.

Pros
  • The mat was just what I needed and wanted to allow the movement to and from my desk much smoother
Cons
  • Seemed to work great, but now it's cracking in multiple places

Won’t unroll and very flimsy. Can’t roll a chair on carpet

Came rolled up and it won’t unroll even after rolling it and holding it the other way. Very flimsy and an office chair does not roll on it with ease at all because the wheels sink into it when in carpet

Pros
  • It offers a simple yet effective solution for protecting your carpet and office chair
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor use

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's just average.

As far as sturdiness and thickness go I would say pretty average and as far as durability goes I just started using it so I wouldn't be able to answer that. I'm not really all that impressed with it. It indents very easily making it hard for the chair to move. I wished I bought a rubber mat instead.

Pros
  • GM1012
Cons
  • Can be a slip hazard

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not very impressive

Flimsy and the chair honestly just sinks into it and is a pretty difficult roll still. For a tiny plastic office chair it might be okay. I bought it for a large gaming style chair and it's pretty disappointing as far as functionality goes. It was awful at first but did get a little bit better and I worked it for a week. I'd save the $40 and find one with great reviews. Maybe lay down a painted slab of wood instead.

Pros
  • The mat measures 30" x 48", providing ample coverage for your workspace
Cons
  • Not ideal for larger office spaces

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not very good for my opinion

The mat is incredibly cheaply made. The description says you can use it on a carpeted surface, however after only 2 weeks of usage it cracked in multiple places. It never laid down flat either. Just overall a cheap product. Might be better on a hard floor but I’ll never know.

Pros
  • Carpet Chair Mats
Cons
  • Comes with a strong chemical odor

Revainrating 1 out of 5

disappointed best in my review

The chair mat is VERY stiff and arrived rolled so tightly in the shipping box that I needed help unrolling it. It was delivered several days ago but I have not been able to use it because Im STILL trying to flatten it out under a board and heavy weights. Im very doubtful the mat will fully flatten and will be wavy and bumpy. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this product.

Pros
  • The mat is versatile and can be used in a variety of settings
Cons
  • May attract and trap dirt and debris

Not for use on thick carpet

This product does not work well on my thick carpet. It easily kinks where my chair legs are which makes it hard to move my chair around.

Pros
  • It provides a smooth surface that makes it easier to maneuver your office chair
Cons
  • May cause static buildup

Doesn't work well on home office carpet

My Wife has moved to working from home for good because of Covid, we got this for the "Office" (Aka bedroom). I'm sure it would do fine on low matte industrial carpet, but it bunches all up and not easy to slide around on in our home office. Going to do what someone recomended and get some vinyl flooring to lay down under the chair instead.

Pros
  • The Resilia office chair mat is proudly made in the USA
Cons
  • Can be noisy when moved around

Nice mat just not the price!

There's nothing that I don't like about this mat just the right size. But not too crazy about the price, but other than that I have 0 complaints. It a perfect addition to my WFH space.

Pros
  • The mat can help reduce eye strain by providing a consistent surface
Cons
  • Can emit toxic fumes when heated

Not that great. on my review.

Its ok .my only complaint is if I'm in the chair for more than 30 mins the wheels the chair get stuck to the point that i have to get up. I only weigh a 189 pounds.

Pros
  • Office Products
Cons
  • Grippers may not grip tightly enough

Hard Pass. good for me

Looks nice, but it's super flimsy. Trying to roll a chair across this while on carpet, isn't pleasant. Mind you the chair I'm using is a high dollar gaming/office chair. It dents super easy and creases even easier. Definitely made of super cheap stuff. Probably cost them all of a $1.75 to make. After sitting in my chair for over an hour, the wheels dig into the mat, causing such deep dents I honestly thing it would be easier to just lift the chair up to move it back to where I can stand up…

Pros
  • The mat is affordable and provides excellent value for your money
Cons
  • Not appropriate for industrial settings

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible/cheap durability

I've had this out on my floor and only been sitting in it for less than 10 minutes, and there are already huge divots in the mat from the chair wheels. I only weigh 130 lbs!

Pros
  • I love it! It is exactly as described and is a good fit in my office at home.
Cons
  • slides around. it sucks. the kind with little teeth is much better.

Only one complaint in my review

It’s a great mat, the only thing I have to complain about it is my chair gets stuck. I don’t believe the chair rollers are the issue, they themselves do not get stuck in place. I’m 5’1 and 135 lbs and when I sit in one spot for too long it’s difficult to move. The carpet in my home office is very normal and not dense. I’m not sure if it’s because of my weight or the exact reason my chair gets stuck but I do believe it’s the mat.

Pros
  • The mat is made from high-quality, durable materials that won't easily crack or tear
Cons
  • Unattractive texture and appearance

Great Black Chair Mat

I do like the product in the design quality overall I do feel like the only woman I would add is to make this product a little bit thicker. It would reduce dents being traced and increase fresh visibility

Pros
  • SUPERIOR CARPET PROTECTION: Protects your carpet against the everyday wear and tear caused by office chairs; Bottom equipped with non-slip grippers; NOT for use on hard floors
Cons
  • Too thin to provide proper cushioning

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not very durable. Smaller than expected.

This deskmat works, but definitely does not satisfy. It's considerably smaller than expected, and after an hour of two of use, deep impressions are left on the plastic mat.

Pros
  • MADE IN USA: Family owned and operated; Produced entirely in the USA
Cons
  • Limited color options

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Warped and getting worse

Have this on carpet and even the parts that the chair doesn’t roll on are warped and wonky. 0/10 would not recommend Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • It is designed to be slip-resistant, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries
Cons
  • Difficult to store when not in use

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works for what it is needed for.

I purchased this for my desk chair w/wheels as my home just had new carpeting put in and working from home requires numerous hours of my chair rolling around the bew carpetThe Pros:The mat is anchored very well with the pegs and I have not had a single instance of the mat moving. The mat feels thin and keeping the chair in a singular spot for an expanded amount of time makes me think that it is permanently damaged. But it actually reforms quite decently.Cleaning the mat is easy and can be done…

Pros
  • The mat is designed to be long-lasting and durable, providing years of use
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or pain to users with sensitive feet or joints

Weak mat that can't even stand a chair sitting on it

My carpet is not super plush, and yet this mat can't stay in one place. Even with just a chair sitting on it, no person, it causes massive potholes in the mat. I have a kneeling chair that is light, and this mat can't handle it. The edges constantly curl up, and the chair does not glide easily. I'm waiting for it to eventually crack. I would return, but I don't even know if it's worth my time to pack it up and send it back. I'll be purchasing a more durable version from another company. You get

Pros
  • It is ideal for use in both home and office environments
Cons
  • May scratch or damage hardwood floors underneath
