These stools were part of a set that included a table I had set up in my basement as a checkers/chess table. They were all easy to assemble and felt sturdy in use. The stools aren't very comfortable, but I'll bring a pillow for them. The set fits well in my basement along with the tables and stools already set up.

Awesome! After my wooden chairs fell apart I was looking for something more permanent and here it is! Metal base with wooden seat. It took around 40 minutes to put 4 chairs together, the instructions are simple and straight forward and once you've assembled one you won't need them anymore. They fit perfectly under my countertop and look great too. I'm sure they won't be as comfortable as our old cloth seats, but they will definitely be a lot easier to keep clean and overall maintain. You are perfect. I already had a high dining set but wanted to use two more chairs as tops. My house is small, so I have to use the space wisely. They were ideal as they could be left discreetly under the kitchen bar until required for table use. The colors match very well, they are darker than in the photo. I was afraid they were too light and wouldn't fit my current gear. Was pleasantly surprised. Very easy to assemble. It took about 10 minutes to assemble two chairs with a drill press.

We needed bar stools that would fit in the 8 inch overhang and not extend too far. Almost all of the stools we saw were about 16 to 20 inches deep. "deep and 15 wide". Their tops are completely flat with a beautiful satin finish. They can withstand up to 260# so are very durable. Each stool took about 10 minutes to assemble. The stools are easy to assemble and strong enough for our use. The style is consistent with other dinnerware and I am very happy with them. Just the right height. Clean simple look. The chipboard looks ok. The legs have plastic footpads, but on our pine wood floors I use a mat underneath as a precaution. This type of chair is great for sitting at the counter for 1-2 hours while eating or working on the computer. I plan on wearing pads if we use them for a long period of time. I was hoping to…
