As described: Towels

I was looking for the best bang for my buck for dishwashing and deep cleaning that I could toss in the laundry and give them a good sanitizer in bleach. These fabrics meet all requirements.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Nothing

Not for oiling cast iron

Got them for oiling/seasoning cast iron. You fail, it's not worth it. It's annoying to rub the surface of the cast iron and wash the cast iron again only to remove all the fibers from it and then reseason it in a harsh way.

Pros
  • High score for hold and durability from testers
Cons

Raggity Rags: Flannels

Mech. I bought these for my tonic but they are very rough. I washed them with fabric softener etc. before use. Unfortunately this didn't help. They also have a lot of loose fibers that shed, as well as lint. Instead, I can use them for house cleaning towels.

Good for cleaning etc

These washcloths are a little flimsy but I was expecting this after reading the reviews. I like them and you get a ton for the price. I like a good scrub on washcloths and they work well for house cleaning too. If you want a fluffy, soft washcloth, look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Fade

Great economical option!

For the price they are perfect. Don't expect posh Turkish luxury because it isn't. If you have kids who ruin your good towels, need washcloths that you won't be sad about if they get lost or thrown away (sent to storage, overly soiled, etc.), or need basic towels for chores, then that's it that's exactly what you need. Dispatched promptly and delivered well ahead of schedule.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Neutral

Read the description carefully before buying!

These rags are called rags by the seller and they are. When you need a truckload of fringed white terrycloth these are perfect. Use it for polishing, washing windows, cleaning countertops, etc. and wash it several times. I wouldn't recommend using them on your newborn's butt, on a face that has recently had a chemical peel, or to impress your mother-in-law. Seriously, I can really buy more.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Rags are quite hard and coarse, but are good for cleaning the house.

Fu. What is that stain? He touched two canvases. I'll just bleach it, but what is it? UPDATE MAY 6: All washed with max fabric softener (first time using no fabric softener) and absorbency has increased slightly. It takes three or four passes to absorb a small amount of liquid, while other washcloths absorb in one pass. They are still very prickly and hard. They were only moved to clean the bathrooms. Buy something else if you want absorbency and softness.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Great for repeated use

This is exactly what I wanted. I mostly use them for separate disposable towels/napkins in the bathroom. But they are great for cleaning, washing/drying dishes and anything else. I often need a small rag to wipe off. I wanted fabrics that weren't very thick. They are thin but absorbent. I usually wash them with whites once a week with bleach. They come out beautiful. The hem holds up really well and I like that it's slim. If one of them gets dirty during use, I can just put it on the…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
