I recommend it to everyone. Very easy to install. You don't have to drill or anything like that. You don't necessarily need a Westin LED panel. I bought a 41" single row Nilight handlebar that fits perfectly. Definitely an addition to my jk which I love. People notice it right away. . 5 Stars!

These are great looking and sturdy brackets BUT they will not fit the hood of the Jeep Wrangler JKU and will fit any 40 lightbar. The 40" light bar I purchased was actually 41.5" along its entire length, and these mounts didn't allow for enough external adjustment to do that. Bought a '38' lightbar with which they worked fine. Just notice that they move inwards a bit. But not enough outside to install a single row "40" LED panel.

I didn't like the brackets attached to the hood bracket. I wanted to mount the lightbar closer to the windshield. They match perfectly with the 41-inch NiLight single-row light bar. There are no problems opening the hood, but be aware that you cannot open the hood all the way to the windshield. So if you want to open the hood fully and lean against the windshield while working under the hood, then this isn't for you! I ordered this hood mount for the light I got at a Veterans Jeep Run. I saw a friend who had a 42" single row light bar and ordered the same brackets. The brackets were made for a single row light bar, but after a little measuring and trimming with an angle grinder it stood up nice and neat.
