Great addition to STI

This is a great addition to the already great STI gearbox. I have a factory short rear derailleur and adding these hard bushings makes shifting crisper. Installation takes about 20-30 minutes once you are familiar with the wiring.

Great price, you just have to know what you are looking for.

Fyi I returned this product because it did not meet my expectations. I bought these bushings for the price thinking they would look like cartboy bushings. The front hub was a little more rubbery than the Perrin or Cartboy hubs I've used in the past so it can deliver better, but I don't care as I wanted the shifter to be very firm. The reason I didn't bother installing them was because the rear hub was only slightly stronger than the factory hub. I could bend it with one hand, and compared to…

Good first mod!: Motorcycle & Powersports

It will take some time to install if you've never done it (like me) and some parts of it are very annoying. In particular, looking for old front bushings takes some time. I've found that a lockpick and screwdriver combination works best, but there may be a better way. The rear hub wasn't easy for me either, as it's very rubberized and doesn't have much room to pull it off the lever. The result is quite noticeable, but I wouldn't call it the difference between day and night. I still plan on…
