This cutter is worth the price. I have went through a few cheap cutters and got what I paid for; a piece of metal that quickly dulled.This cutter does the trick. I recommend it for casual cigar smokers and "old pros”.

Second one since the last was lost in a move. Best cutter I've found. Lay it in a flat surface, put your cigar in flat and cut. Even the cigar shop didn't realize it gave a better and more consistent cut until I showed them.

Best cigar cutter I have used in my 30 years of smoking cigars! Just as good as (or better than) a tabletop cutter. Feels good in the hand, locks closed after each use. Cuts like a hot knife through butter - no joke!

I love these things, I've bought multiple for myself and to gift to friends and they have all made nice, clean, precise cuts everytime. I also appreciate they put the steel used in the product, 440 or 420, can't remember at I write this. While not a modern super steel, both 440 and 420 are still commonly found on nice knives today.

I have a number of cutters and this is among the best. The blue color is very deep navy blue which is what I wanted. Xikar says it will cut a 54 ring gauge in half. I tried that with a Churchill, I wanted to cut the burning end off to save the rest for later. I had to go get a larger cutter. I think it work if the cross section was perfectly circular, but these are hand rolled and are just a wee bit elliptical in cross section. But it's a great cutter anyway. I bought this as a gift for my husband after he sent me the link. He loves it! It is his favorite cigar cutter. He keeps claiming that it is one of the best gifts he has ever received.

It cuts well. The little knurled thumb switch, used for opening it, broke. It is threaded in, and one day it just fell out. The threads were poorly cut. So now I am just careful not to loose the thumb switch. It cuts cigars well, though!

I had been holding off on getting a nice cutter for a few years. I've been using those cheap plastic ones they sell for a couple of dollars at cigar stores. But this one is exceptional. It is worth every penny. Plus the life time guarantee is worth it too, I'll never buy another cutter. They will replace when it goes dull or if its broke.
