These wheels aren't very hard, but they aren't too soft either. You are exactly right. The paint looks too light. Instead of the color looking like it's worked into the metal, it just looks like it's been sprayed. Wheel cores are legal metal. Installation took an average of 30 minutes. Stars for the quality, five stars for the price.

I got this scooter wheel to replace an old pro scooter razor but it was too big for the frame. Will try to figure it out, maybe change it to make it work. The wheel itself is nice and big, with a good bearing to give a nice smooth spin. Be sure to measure your current wheel to ensure it will fit without having to modify your scooter.
