If ordering custom length contact the seller: the measurement will be the total width, with the bar arms 1 5/8" less center to center. As my tests showed this screwdriver set from the Fasteners category is not only poorly made, but also extremely difficult to use. The screwdriver head will not grip screws well and keeps slipping... The materials and workmanship for this product are just fine, but it's a lot of money to spend on something before knowing if the person that you're buying it for will use it. I bought it for a woman who does some respite care. So far, none of her charges have used it other than for stimming from the fabric (which is fine).
