Better than described

I don't usually write a review shortly after receiving an item but an exception is guaranteed. The lines and numbers are engraved (debossed and then painted on) so the markings will not come loose with normal wear and tear. This is what you find on metal rulers that cost four times what I paid. Therefore I give this article five stars for the time being and will continue to rate "used" later.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Not sure

Scale engraved with numbers until the end.

Just what I needed. I do some woodworking and this will be very useful. I'm tired of taking my adjustable square apart just to use as a ruler. Now if only I could stop my wife from taking them out of my tool box and putting them back! I had cheaper metal rulers but the numbers disappeared. They should be engraved so that this doesn't happen again.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • boring packaging

very thin material, suitable for linear measurements

As a measuring scale, it comes closest to the norm. The punching knives had to be removed and nothing could be done about the delicacy of the material from which these flakes were made. It would be great for teaching students how to use the scale, but it doesn't meet the quality standards for a machinist's toolbox. You can get them everywhere now and in our store our mechanics keep them with them so they don't lose anything if they get stolen. (Made in China)

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Something different

Nice and thick for linear measurements

The only reason they didn't get a 5 out of 5 was because the cam roller was slightly bent. What I liked about them was how thick the 12" and 6" rulers were. So thick that they could safely be used as a straight edge. The 32nd page is marked with a number in intervals of four, and the 64th page is marked with a number in intervals of eight. This is a really great set for a small price. I would buy again. I hope that was helpful.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some flaws

It's stainless steel

Although the description said 'stainless steel' I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting but it really is stainless steel. Rschunimagu. I bought this rider for my high school student who luckily is mature and I don't have to worry about him praying to cops and muggers with it, I definitely wouldn't buy it for a child. Great line, easy to read. but don't do like me and ignore the stainless steel part because it's actually a stainless steel ruler.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Heavy duty stainless steel Precise

I use these rulers for crafting and am completely satisfied with the quality, accuracy and thickness. I don't expect any bending or warping in my life and the markings appear to be quite permanent. I deducted a star for safety reasons: the ends of the corners are very sharp, which requires special care and I would hesitate to allow very old people or young children to use it. But overall a good product.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Uncertain

Nice but sharp and needs 12.

If you've used a metal ruler you know it's useful for drawing/drawing. Yes, you need a sharp edge on the handle, but that can be a weapon, especially the corners. So let's call it an adults-only line. Also slightly disturbing is the fact that the actual number "12" is not printed on the 12" ruler; This ruler uses the edge as the 12" mark, but for aesthetic reasons you want to see the 12 at the end. I know it may seem insignificant but trust me you will notice and miss 12.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Fits
