Great nails but feeder problem

Although my nail gun isn't the best, I can drive most nails I come across with no problem. That has changed with this batch of nails. The strip of plastic that holds the nails together seems much thicker and stronger than the others. This causes a lot of misfeeds in the gun and is quite annoying. I even started hand hammering them towards the end of the box because I just can't handle all the feed bugs. other nails I have used.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • So far so good

The nails are fine, the packaging is terrible.

nails come in a plastic tube but are not tightly packed in the tube and the tube itself is not tightly packed in the box. This causes the pipe to break during transport and some nail strips are also broken in groups of twos and threes. Most of them are usable, but plan for 10% of them to be broken into pieces. Some paper wrappers in the tub and box prevent this entirely. Other than that, they seem to work great in my old Harbor Freight Central Pneumatic. Ideal length for picket fences nailed to

fussy in the Bostitch F28 nailer

These nails only work if the Bostitch F28 uses one stick at a time - putting two sticks pretty much guarantees a jam. The plastic also seems to stick more to the nail and often gets stuck around the head where it touches the wood, making the finished work less clean (this doesn't apply to tens of thousands of nails by several). Stamp in this nail gun and other Grip Rite nail sizes in this nail gun). The same size and style of Senco and Bostitch nails work great in this nailer and the 3.25" Grip

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
