Great price, great kit if you don't have or use a sewing machine

I embroider and sew a lot at home. Everything from the under sleeve holes of shirts to pant hems to patches and patterns that kids really want to make their own. It's very convenient to have everything in one set that's easy to carry and fits in a drawer when I want to put it away. If I were to purchase each item individually (whether it was the local dollar store or other well known stores) the cost would be much higher. Happy with this purchase!

I would describe it as a "perfect sewing kit for students" (like me!). It's cheap, but it's also cheap. The yarn looks cheap but has a good range of colors and a decent length. The seam ripper is actually good quality and will set you back a few bucks at the craft store. Needles are difficult to thread (small eye) - There is no slot on the bobbins to catch the thread so it doesn't unravel - Scissors are bent but can still cut the thread - Lots of things fall out when you open the holder - I…

The tape measure is accurate but some of the tiny needles are difficult to thread

This sewing kit for under $8 isn't bad at all. It can be used as a starter kit, an emergency kit, or a kit that a child can keep in their camping gear or in the room. The carrying bag is easy to store and holds 14 strands in different colors. The colors aren't very bright, but the cable is strong. It doesn't break when pulled. The needles aren't the best quality either, but as a last resort or for practice, the cost of the needles will work for small and simple projects. I have found that even…
