This box has everything for a very reasonable price, but beware if you want to listen to the radio. The dial is imprecise and the frequency display is too small. If you don't care for radio, looks can get you!

Great cute radio for work especially for all of us who have a lot to fit into a tiny cubicle. The CD player worked great and the cassette player was more than adequate for the price. While I had no issues with the AM spectrum, the high end of the 102.1+ end of the FM spectrum did have some reception issues.

I got this as a Christmas present and was happy to finally have a CD player that was easy to reach while I was working in the kitchen. The idea was to have something nice but small. That's small. My sound is terrible! I almost never use it because of the quality of the speaker. Spend a little more. There's nothing worse than hearing your favorite classic track on speakers that distort the sound! Almost as bad as thin nails on a board. . .

I am very disappointed with this stereo considering most of my other RCA products have performed well. The sound is okay, but the radio tuner "fades" the stations, which requires constant tuning. CD player rotates but no longer plays CDs. The connection of the power cord is loose, so you can turn off the power at will. Save your money, buy something else. This device seems to suffer from poor build quality.

I recently received an RCA RP7968 boombox as a gift. It's really awesome! The RCA features large, easy-to-use, and easy-to-read buttons. It plays CDs and cassettes with ease, and it's also very stylish (though not as powerful as some Sony and Aiwa models). However, there are some disadvantages. First, it's really not for portable use. I bought this for my work to listen to music while working in a warehouse. After 3 (three) weeks after purchase, the tape recorder broke. No problem, I only listen to CDs, okay? Well it worked for several months. Now it only plays the CD I *just* opened. After this playback, it jumps like it's an old CD. This boombox is not worth [money].
