Almost invisible

We were going on vacation and we wanted the house to look like someone was home. The instructions say to put it in a place where it is not visible from the outside. We tried it on the windowsill itself, facing the window, but we were afraid it would be visible from the outside. We put it on a cabinet next to the TV but it wasn't visible at all. We put it on a small table under the window and turned it on and it looked like the TV was on.

Fake TV Anti-Tamper

Easy to use and works as described. It's extremely sensitive to light sources, so I recommend getting an inexpensive manual timer and setting it to 'on'. instead of "Daylight" when next to a light source. But the daylight setting also works as described. If you put it in a room where it gets dark at dusk, it will turn on and work for 4-5 hours. You must place it next to a window if you have your curtains drawn, or point it towards the wall and leave the curtains open.

Suitable for small/medium sized rooms

The lighting isn't very bright so don't expect a disco in the living room while you're away. But when placed correctly, it ONLY looks like someone is watching TV from the outside. I think a lot of bad reviewers just put that in front of their TV or point straight out the window and say "done" - both are bad ideas. It's not the product's fault that you didn't read the instructions. It takes about 15 minutes to install on a wall near a window with blinds or curtains. When you find the right place

Such a wonderful little piece of security!

I put them in a rented house I'm renovating. The neighbors thought I lived there because they kept the TV on at night! It really works! They arrive at dusk and stay about 5 hours as promised. I've lowered the blinds in the rooms I've placed them in so no one can peek in and see what's going on. But I opened the blinds slightly down. Then I placed the device on the floor and aimed it directly at the blinds. If possible I'll try to make a video tonight.

This product did not meet my expectations. It's not very bright and it was difficult to position it to be visible on the street, but prevented anyone from seeing the device when looking through the window. I've tried turning the device sideways, but it's very difficult to see the lights from a distance. Setting it to turn on for a limited period of time and then turn off automatically doesn't work either. I was able to get it working once by switching from one mode to another and then it would…
