Very happy with this lamp. The flexibility made it so I could get it out of the way and still keep the switch accessible. The magnet is strong enough, it won't move or slide. Ideal brightness for my application, some of the lights I looked at were much brighter and I think they would be too bright for close proximity to my work.

I bought this lamp as a light source for my wood lathe. It's smaller than expected but bright, and the expanded light area allows for better illumination of the subject than a point source - less shadows. It fits very snugly on each piece of iron so I can attach it anywhere on the lathe and set it up to emit light. This is a great lamp and I can only recommend it.

Just received this and didn't realize it had zero reviews! So far, so good. Bright light, strong magnet. I attached it to a metal cabinet next to the sofa so I can see how to make decorations at night. I'll update this if anything changes, but my husband already wants one for his workbench. Edit: Still amazing light 6 months later. My husband bought one for his large grinder when he makes knives. The magnet will hold even if the machines vibrate.

I had a similar product and needed a different one. This model had more LEDs and all the reviews said it was bright so I tried this model and it was really bright for my use. (I start my 3D printer). I had a metal shelf bracket to glue it to, but a round metal disc with glue was also included. So if you don't have a metal surface to attach this light to, you can use a metal washer to mount it. stick to a non-magnetic surface and tape the LED to this disc. I bought this because I liked the symmetry of the design, with rounded ends on both ends rather than round on one end and square on the other (Warning: once you've seen this, you can't see it anymore!).
