Tajima Black Chalk in Chalk Lines

If your job involves drawing with chalk lines, you definitely need to get this! Forget red and blue! Guaranteed, once you've used Black you'll truly NEVER go back! HIGH visibility in all conditions. Even in dark cellars. semi-permanent. The lines appear as if you drew them with a carpenter's pencil!

The best chalk I've ever used.

I am a trained carpenter. I have specialized in stairs and markers in the second half of my career and will not use any chalk or chalk line other than Tajima. Your chalk lines/boxes will last for years and work best with your chalk. I know a large general contractor who buys no chalk other than Tajima for his employees and foremen.

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • Small repairs

The best chalk money can buy for most purposes

Old school kids who still use red or blue will definitely appreciate how much easier it is to see. I have used other brands of black chalk but this is the best. Of course, if you're using chalk on felt you can't see the black, so get the neon green Tajima. The only downside to using black chalk is the fact that it doesn't wash off very well. but mostly it doesn't matter.

  • Marker Tools
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I Color For This - Chalk Lines

If you're buying this you probably already know how great it works because you have a Tajima snap cord. If not, you should know that it is not "chalk" but powdered paint. It is designed for use with braided nylon lines. I don't know how it will work with the traditional cotton cords that most manufacturers use. buy these! Instead, buy a full set of tools and get a free bottle of paint.
