WARNING: Do not buy from Revain!

I ordered this puppy food after reading positive online reviews but then I noticed that Revain customers were reporting differences in kibble with the product in store and digestive problems in their dogs. I tested the food I was given on Revain before feeding it to my pup and found that it was a smaller variant of the dry food that had been reported to cause puppies to have diarrhea and not want to eat. I would definitely NOT feed this to my puppies. Also, I've lost faith in the Wellness…

Serious digestive problems

I've been using Wellness for many years so I bought it for our new puppy without hesitation. It took me 2 weeks to switch from the breeder's food when I noticed the pup was becoming very gassy and the poo was becoming more runny. By the time I got to 100%, the puppy had terrible diarrhea and was sitting in the yard non-stop. They took him to the vet and there were no worms or parasites. Return it to the breeder feed along with a 10-day probiotic. I contacted wellness and no response. I still…

Hard on my pup's stomach

I tried this food for my pup because it was advertised as recommended on several sites and I wanted grain to be more nutritious than rice. During its use, my pup spontaneously pooped around the house almost constantly. When I switched to a different barley free dog food my pup had much more control and puked more regularly/harder. I tried to go back to this food when I ran out of the better food and his droppings spontaneously got wet again. While some people would say it was caused by a…

Keep supplying bad product

Just as you are reading this I also went through all the positive reviews and saw a few negative ones and dismissed them as illegal / not something that could have happened to my dog. I got a second bag of this food, it looked exactly like the old one, and started feeding it to my pup. Over the next few days he began to vomit. We thought he ate something else that caused it. We eliminated other variables and that's not all. We put him on boiled chicken and rice and it was all over. I thought it

was great! My pup loved it

The first time I ordered it from Revain it was great! My puppy liked it! she ate it Of course, after her food ran out, I ordered her again. When the food arrived, I opened the package and noticed that the pieces were different from what I had previously ordered (despite being the same brand). The pieces are flatter and darker in color. I've tried feeding her anyway, but she won't eat them. I went to the local pet store and got the same package but this time the pellets were the same as what I…

Disagree with our standard poodle puppy

I hesitated before giving negative feedback. All dogs are different and there may be health issues, allergies, food intolerances etc that need to be considered. Perhaps there is nothing wrong with this meal. However, in the spirit of full disclosure, introducing this food to our new pup coincided with a long bout of digestive problems. Our pup liked the food but didn't like it back - he was constantly alerting us when he needed to go outside and had ranging from loose stools to occasional…

What is this food all about

We bought this food for our healthy 3 month old puppy. quantity and schedule. Since we started this we have noticed that her stool has become extremely loose and watery. Because of that, we started investigating what the problem might be, and in the meantime, we started feeding her cooked chicken breast and plain white rice. Immediately after giving up this food, we noticed a difference in the consistency of their droppings. Is there something wrong with this food?!?!?!? A lot of the reviews…

Move SLOWLY to avoid diarrhea, it's worth it!

As per several other reviews, my dog had terrible diarrhea when I switched her food. I was so disappointed. The quality of this product and the price compared to other non-GMO products were attractive. I researched this and felt quite guilty for my spontaneous poorly planned switch. How did I find out; The transition needs to be gradual, here's what I found: The easiest way to switch products is to mix old and new products for about a week. Start with a mix of 25% new products and 75% old…

Have you ever seen a dog spit up completely liquid poop?

tl;dr - Other reviews are correct, this granulated product purchased from Revain is NOT the same as a regular granulated wellness product! DO NOT BUY YOU WILL BRING A BAD TIME. Shop at Chewy or just walk into a store. Long tirade: We have a 5 month old Mini American Shepherd and have been feeding her Wellness puppy food (purchased from Chewy) for over 2 months now and she is doing fine. We decided on a 10 day Thanksgiving trip and figured she would only need about 5lbs of food so buying a small
