Bitstamp, a complete exchange

Since it opened in 2011, Bitstamp has provided a trusted gateway to the crypto universe for individuals and institutions across the globe. It is regularly the largest exchange in Europe by trading volume and offers BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH and XRP trades alongside USD, EUR and BTC. Beginners can buy crypto with credit cards, while experienced traders can use a variety of order types and analytical tools.
The exchange is a pioneer in encryption security and regulation as it has developed a number of best practices for the industry, such as storage cold asset, multi-grade wallets and implementation of segwit. With a mature approach to the industry, Bitstamp serves as a bridge between traditional finance and crypto.
They claim to have no "hidden fees," which means they are transparently priced based on volume. The exchange also supports all major credit cards and stores 98% of all digital funds offline. The exchange is also subject to an annual audit by one of the big four audit firms (KPMG, PwC, E&Y and Deloitte).

Pros
  • Bitstamp does not explicitly prohibit US investors from trading on its exchange. In any case, all American investors still have to make your own independent analysis of any problems arising from your residence or citizenship. In the worst case, they are still prohibited from trading in one or more exchanges that could be the best cryptocurrency exchange site for them.
Cons
  • None from me
