If you are buying these to spend a good chunk of time getting the installation pretty and then leaving them in that position long term (not adjusting the height or openness on a regular basis), then you're fine. These are well made of nice materials and do a good job of light blocking. But.the fan folding on installation, getting the bows to look even and nice, and then having to do it all over again upon adjustment is pretty inconvenient. These are definitely going to cut vinyl but I'm not sure they will cut thicker materials like suede. I will buy different blades for my deep cut housing. The gold blade, or 2nd down, is the standard cricut blade. The bottom black blade is the cricut deep cut blade. Their blades are labeled on the left, yellow, red, blue. This product is the worst design for ferrets because you have to be a very very tiny person to fit inside to clean, and the pieces don’t stay together unless you use a ton of zip ties. DOES NOT WORK for ferrets because my ferret gets out EVERY DAY! Thank goodness she hasn’t found the doggie door and escaped the house or got hurt by the dog. Not super sturdy but good enough and fairly easy to assemble except the last steps. Keeping the soft washer in place between the mirror and the base while getting the two bolts in that hold the mirror up was hard. I almost taped them in place but I got it without.
