Review on ๐Ÿถ Electric Dog Fence + Remote Trainer - Contain & Train 2 Dogs with 1000' 20 Gauge Underground Wire - Covers 1 Acre - Single Collar Solution by Sasha Hsiao

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, great customer service.

My husband cut the line with a trimmer. (suggested in another comment) took about 1.5 hours making part of the plot with his own hands (near the rounded wiring box near the house). We routed the wire and found that it didn't fit in places. Service called immediately. They said to remove the line 5ft from the cable box as that could be a nuisance. It worked and it's great. But they did more. They said in case of the gearbox they would send a new box and 2 new collars just in case. Wonderful! My husband was on the phone for less than 5 minutes. So he was happy with that. We have a 160 lb Boerboel and a nearly 70 lb Cane Corso puppy. The puppy buzzed and cried once because it was scared. Now it doesn't approach the flags at all. The big guy is used to training collars, so he knows a lot. This helped him get used to his new principles. He likes going to the bathroom on the neighbor's tree, running on their porch, scratching the door and waiting for a bite to eat. lol. He quickly realized that he couldn't. We do not walk both dogs around the area as part of a lease with collars on the 1st. Gave our orders etc and they did a great job. Later when we freed her the big guy ran over the line to pee fast got hit and immediately ran back. He's so used to us saying no, then squeaking, then humming, and then he's already peeing on the neighbors' territory. So that was a big step forward. He never crossed the border again. The trainer part on the console is very easy to understand. My 15 year old son uses it too. Our pup loves to dig and tear grass. All we had to do was honk and it stopped. Because it was really that high that I mentioned earlier. And inside the house he wasn't listening, so I honked the horn and it stopped right away. We were very happy with this product and it cost $270 for a two dog system. Based on feedback, we chose 16 gauge wire for our large breed dogs. We are so happy. Our driveway! I don't see many people mentioning that. The end of our driveway that meets the sidewalk looks like a small crack. It actually leaked because it was (thankfully) sealed, there were a few spots we had to carve. By "we" I mean my husband. He used his "war hammer" and a large flathead screwdriver. The wire is so thin that it doesn't take up much space. I then bought caulk from Home Depot and sealed the crack. I'll be sure to update this review in a few months, for better or worse.
