Well, for starters, I don't know much about cars. I have a model 05 Chevy Malibu Classic base and have been looking for a car radio for years. All I needed was the right dash kit and that was it. That. Works perfectly with the Pioneer MVH-290BT radio (with a slight modification --- read more). For starters, this dash kit has mounting holes right where the screws are on my radio dash, so it was easy. The radio chassis fitted perfectly and with a small adjustment using the internal tabs it stayed in place. The only issue I had was getting the radio to fit snugly in the dash. It fitted perfectly, but was completely loose. To fix this I removed the bezel from the radio unit (removed the bezel and removed the bezel), then reinstalled the bezel and secured it to the case. The dash kit comes with its own fairing and I used this to secure the radio in place. Overall it fits and I love it ALOT.PROs: Fits my 2005 Chevy Malibu Classic. Easy installation. Supports single DIN radios. Cons: The brackets align in the general area where the screws will attach, but had trouble finding a perfect fit. Still secure, but it was difficult to get all three screws through the hole. if it makes sense
