Pretty much everything that is said but it could be my stereo no error from sys

I installed a Pumpkin 7.1 Android dual din stereo head unit in my 2007 Silverado 2500 HD. The installation went according to plan but when I selected the brand of stereo to program the steering wheel radio controls, I selected number 7 for the 'Other' option and my steering wheel controls are not working. So when I tried to program it, I could see the LED flashing every time I pressed a button on the steering wheel, but the stereo never registered a button press. I've tried keeping the "factory settings" instead of the aftermarket settings, I've actually tried both methods following the instructions that came with the wiring harness kit. None of them worked as the volume control is so close to the steering wheel that it doesn't really matter, it's just one of those things I wish worked, but an unknown Chinese branded stereo wasn't part of the programmed options to choose from . Overall I'm satisfied, the rear seat audio controls work great as well as I haven't changed anything. stereo wiring harness I really do not know it. It may all be my fault, but it works well enough.

Pros
  • Holds audio controls in the back seat. Dual Zone Feature
Cons
  • Functionality
