I bought these for my son thinking they were waterproof but they definitely are NOT. I bought them for muddy weather in Colorado. Once he stepped on the snow and his socks got wet all day at school. His shoes, socks and feet smelled like a barn when he got home. I will try washing the shoes to see if I can get rid of the smell. But in winter he can no longer wear them. I'm disappointed because I can usually rely on Keens for my son's wide feet to keep his feet comfortable and dry.
