Headphones not for $200 (cheap design)

I'm certainly not a music lover but I really appreciate the sound quality. I bought a pair of these headphones to replace my Sony MDRXB950BT. Sony's headphone design was rubbish. It was mostly plastic, so while the earbuds worked great, they practically fell to pieces. Both cost $200. Here's what I found. Audio-Technica headphones are also made of plastic. All of the components in my broken Sony headphones were plastic, and the same components are plastic in Audio-Technica's. Specifically the part that attaches the speakers to the headband. Not good, because this is the part that gets the most use. Audio-Technica headphones have VERY little bass. Of course the Sonys I had were bass heavy so the difference was very noticeable. The audio is crystal clear (when not cut). I immediately noticed that Audio-Technica's sound quality is significantly better than Sony's. I like the headphones very much, but not for the price. They are legally worth $100-$120. So I will definitely send them back. I would not recommend them unless they are at a very reasonable price. Audio-Technica has a similar pair, but they're cheaper, the only difference being that they don't support Bluetooth. I would be happier with them. The Bluetooth feature doesn't justify the price difference between the sets (although it works well). Bad job Audio-Technica. Update: Shortly after Audio-Technica's return, I decided to try the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless. I fell in love with her immediately. Amazing build quality, great clear sound and more bass. I chose the original Crossfade over Crossfade 2 because I ended up spending $115 on several different product reviews. They were on Revan.
