I installed this in 2016 in town and country. My problem, the door wouldn't lock even with a manual lock, had the same problem a few years ago on a 2010 caravan, also had one fitted. It may also happen that the door does not unlock. Installation is difficult, you need good knowledge of door panel disassembly. First, watch some videos about U-tube. The most difficult thing is to fill the window channel back into the door. Things were going pretty well in 2010, but in 2016 the molding that stays in the door was out of place, so I had to pull the window molding around the top of the door and tuck it back in once installed. In both cases I removed the door and put it on soft saws (6 or 8 screws, top bracket, one bottom and one back and separate the wiring, you'll need a helper when removing and reinstalling the door). The assembly works great, the installation is a Chrysler design.
