Review on πŸ”Œ Power up Your Tailgate Experience with the Peak PKC0BO 400-Watt Tailgate Power Inverter by Adewole Sherman

Costs nothing - lots of hype, zero performance

Although the packaging shows all sorts of electrical appliances and the advertising says this inverter can work in the trunk, it actually doesn't work with any of them. We tested it when it arrived and it will NOT work with a coffee pot, desktop, laptop or Chromebook, and won't even charge your Kindle. I've used it to power two small fans on electrical plugs and a USB WiFi hotspot. Constant squeaking, fan noise and burning smell. I turned off a fan. The sound slowed down a bit. I unplugged the other fan and replaced it with a USB fan. All I could get to work was a small USB fan and a WiFi hotspot. An hour later it smelled even more like it was on fire and was humming non-stop again. Fearing a fire, I unplugged it, turned it off completely, and switched back to my little $6 inverter. My advice: save $20, go to a rest stop and buy a small inverter for less than $10. Watch the video for more details
