The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I ordered a gray carpet and received a black one. Otherwise, it's just the right amount of cushioning, and topographical features work well for me without getting in the way. As an unexpected bonus, the polyurethane slides very easily over the glass chair but doesn't move at all when you stand on it. I often sit/stand during the day so I don't have to bend down and move the mat when changing positions.

This can provide excellent padding and comfort for a standing desk. Front, side, and back strikes are good for massaging the feet and help change stance. There is enough room for multiple standing positions and even walking/swinging (I wear size 13 shoes so have large feet).
