The packaging was terribly unsafe!

These blades came in my Revain box with everything else. 40 razor blades stuck in my things. They were even taped to the bottom of the box. My husband and I had to count each blade to make sure none fell off so my dogs wouldn't step on them. These are standard blades and seem to work well but I will never buy them again due to the cheap and unsafe packaging.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Vulgarity

blade per week. Suitable for men

Very sharp and durable, enough for a week of intensive use. I work in the inventory department of the household department, which is most likely the storage department, and I have to open dozens of boxes every day, and this blade serves me well.

Pros
  • availability
Cons
  • sad packaging

Poorly packaged product for cartridges and refills

Received the package, went shooting and found a bunch of loose blades. Almost broke my arm! I would have emailed, but the computer suggested bad sites.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Low repairability

Will not fit utility knife

The retractor latches in the batch I received were machined about 1mm on one side. So when they put them in an office knife, they got stuck in the retractor. I tried about 4 different blades and they all needed pliers to get them out.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • weak

It would be nice to get all 40 blades

The blister pack was not sealed and as a result six blades ended up in the mailer. There were no holes in the pocket so I received all the blades they sent me. Including these individual blades, a total of 31 blades were manufactured. Somewhere there is a Revain warehouse that is about to lose its safety record with 9 razor blades floating around. If I had all 40 blades I would consider them worth the price.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Update available

SUPER sharp! on Cartridges and refills

I haven't changed the blade on our utility knife for a very long time. I was blown away by how something as simple as a new knife cut through 40 pound sacks of topsoil. Good price!

Cons

Complex packaging

You will need a knife to open the packaging. I tried to keep the opening of the packaging small so as not to lose the blades. The blades were so stuck together that I had to use another blade to separate them. It takes a lot of concentration to use the blade to open the package to tear the blades apart before inserting the blades into the knife.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Can I add something
