Modacrylic, Cotton, Nylon. ARC FLASH & FLAME RESISTANT FOR LIFE - This 5.2 oz material is a soft, inherent blend of Modacrylic, Cotton and Nylon. They will remain arc and flame retardant regardless of the washes and wear cycles. These neck gaiters, or face masks, are NFPA 70E Compliant, HRC / CAT 1, EBT = 6.4 cal/sq-cm and meet ASTM F1506. Don't add fuel to the fire in the event of an arc flash or flash fire. One Size Fits All. These FR neck gaiters have an asymmetrical, stretchable rib panel so it can fit any size head. TIRED OF ITCHING? SKIN SAFE & LIGHTWEIGHT - This FRC fire resistant fabric is safe to wear directly against your skin when at work. The flame resistant materials used are non-allergenic and will not react with your skin. We voluntarily meet the most stringent international health codes related to formaldehyde, ammonia, arsenic, heavy metals and other toxins. Go ahead and sweat in it. SAFETY DOES NOT HAVE TO BE BORING - it can be cool and comfortable. Saved my neck! Best Among Men

Really excited about this alligator. As a trained electrician, I'm used to sparks, spatter and bright lights. Not today! My beard didn't smell of burning either! Seriously, great product and I will definitely be buying more stuff from these cats!

Works well for naval aviation.

So far they work very well on aircraft carriers. It takes a lot of use before needing a wash, and dissipates the heat of the F/A-18 Super Hornet engines so well I could almost walk straight through the Jet Blast if it wasn't also trying to knock me over. . I haven't had a chance to test its Cockpit FR capabilities yet (hopefully I never will) but once I do I'll update this review with the results. I now have four of these face masks and am very happy with my purchase. Thank you Benchmark!

I like it but. for accessories

Hand washed for the first time before first use. But after the second wash from the washing machine, the seams came undone. I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars. I bought a few more of these because I really like them. But one thing I noticed, there are slight differences in the manufacturing, especially in the seam area. I'm starting to think that even the materials used are different, some better than others. But that's just my opinion. Also, there is no embroidered tag/brand on any of the…

The design of this neck gaiter is amazing. The build quality is excellent and comfortable.

Savior Beard Welder.

The thing is holding up well so far. I use it to protect my beard from redness and slag. Today, even with the shield down, there was a metal patch stuck to my forehead just above my glasses. But my beard is still intact. Small update: I received my first one on August 15, 2019. The left after almost daily use for almost a year. And do laundry once a week. Works, Made in the USA, Inexpensive

The first thing I did was fire test these gaiters. I have quite a bit of experience with FR clothing and can confirm that it is FR clothing. You may see Revain consumer photos showing burn holes in the product, but all FR garments are destroyed when exposed to fire. What they don't show in the picture is that all FR products become brittle when burned and crack very easily when exposed to a flame so there is a hole that needs to be photographed.
