I bought it to add to my granddaughter's collection, she was very happy. She liked that the lid rotated to keep the music playing.

My granddaughters loved this Christmas present. It becomes a tradition to release it every Christmas. It doesn't look cheap, but it's very realistic. Great find!

The ballerina wasn't glued, but I hope a little superglue helped. The music box is very beautiful and the sound is good. My granddaughter, not quite 3, who has heard the Barbie Nutcracker many times, fell in love with the music box. Couldn't make them hold until the glue was dry. My six-year-old granddaughter, who tolerates the Barbie nutcracker rather graciously, also loves the music box. Really nice little thing.

Although the item arrived intact, like new, in a red box as promised, I was disappointed. The product looks cheaply painted. I expected the music box to have an on/off switch, but there isn't one. I was also expecting the item to have a winding mechanism, but it doesn't. To wind up, the Christmas tree is twisted and turned by turning. My expectations were higher than what I experienced while holding, looking at and winding up a music box.
