I used to have a glass container but when it fell out of the cupboard and broke on the sink I quickly realized I needed something more permanent. That's great! I love the color and it holds my thread very well!

I had to lift the cutting part a bit to get the thread through and make sure the lid was screwed all the way in when pulling the thread. It's better for the environment than a plastic dispenser, this product suits me.

I like this tiny container although the cutter is difficult to use. I have to cover it completely with my thumb to get the thread through the cutter and cut. As for the filament, I want it to be a bit flatter than the rounded filament and I want the charcoal to separate a little from it. more in the tooth gap like another product i had before and can't find anymore. I didn't even buy it for environmental reasons, it just works great. My main gripe with regular floss is that it's always slick/waxed and it's more about gliding over dirt than scraping it off. I have very narrow teeth and wasn't sure if this would fit me. It's not bad, it doesn't exactly crumble, but it does break, which is better than tearing and getting caught in your teeth. So if you're trying to find something more eco-friendly, that's generally perfectly acceptable. I tried some Humble CO. yarn, it's still nylon based and it snags and breaks like crazy.
