Use for VERY light fabrics! and practice makes perfect!

It's a VERY narrow hem when it says 'lightweight' fabric, that's what they mean. Anything heavier than recommended, you'll need a wider one. Pay attention! Practice, practice, practice!

  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Nice edges! while sewing

Once I figure out how to use it, I'm hooked! Small seams now become much easier. It pops out like the other legs. I just have to start with the hem, but that's the easiest part. As long as you can constantly stretch the fabric, you'll get the perfect little hem.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Crumpled

Identical to pico foot

Based on a review of the pico foot, I bought it to try pico stitch and narrow stitch. It didn't work so I bought it. The two are indistinguishable. It works, but it doesn't make the perfect simple edge. This is a process. And it's VERY tight. Like almost none. The hem is not wide enough to hide the frayed edge of the fabric. If you're sure you need a narrow foot, that's fine. Looks like a quality product. But if you're just looking for useful legs, I'm not sure there's a faster way than folding

Sews 3mm (not 5mm) selvage

I find the name of this presser foot confusing as 5mm really only refers to the feed dog size on the machine, not the hem size. Nowhere in the product description does it explain that the edge is actually 3mm, although it refers to the size of the rack and says it fits on 5mm and then 7mm rack which also seems like a mismatch. Would not have ordered this if described correctly as my Brother XL-2610 already comes with a narrow hemming foot which creates a 3mm hem. What I wanted was a hemming…

Enormous time savings!

I like it! A nice clean look that's much faster than hand rolling and better than a machine finished edge. There is a learning curve to learning how to roll and I watched youtube videos to try and help but felt like they were struggling. I found an easier way: manually fold the beginning and sew an inch (under the foot). Raise the presser foot, raise the needle, and pull the fabric back about 1/2-3/4 inch so you are over the edge. Place the right side edge into the spool of the foot (sometimes…
