BYS On-The-Go Nude Eyeshadow Palette with Mirror, Applicator, and Six Shades Review

I bought this because I love neutral cool eyeshadows and it seems like all eyeshadows are warm now! It was so beautiful and matched like a dream that I even traveled alone with this palette once! But after just a few weeks, I noticed that the eyeshadows were becoming very hard and uneven in texture, and I was having a hard time applying any pigment to my brush, let alone my fingertip. Very strange and very sad because I really liked it at first!

I bought these because some of the shades look like cool, cool browns - and they all are! We can tell it's bordering on neutral/warm, but that's clearly seen in the photo. Quality varies - the fifth shade is a little dustier than the others, and the lightest is almost creamy. They're all pretty well pigmented, especially for the price.

This eyeshadow collection is of excellent quality and at an incredibly affordable price. I think Urban Decay has the collection for that. The case and colors look pretty much the same to me, except BYS on Revain is offering it for $10 instead of $29. I would compare the quality to more expensive companies like Nars, Laura Mercier or Make-up Forever. I have ordered two more in case it sells out in the future. UPDATE September 2021 I tried this palette again and was too hard on it. It is excellent. It's just a very different look than the natural look I thought I would buy. This slight shimmer gives a much stronger "I'm wearing makeup" look. Which isn't always bad (just not what I wanted). I put 3 stars and add a photo. Still only 3 because I can get a "makeup" look by going darker on a matte palette and wouldn't specifically buy the shimmery version of the naked palette. ORIGINAL REVIEW August 2021…

I love these eyeshadows. The texture is silky and can be applied gently. It's very neutral so I can wear lighter colors and it evens out my skin tone and doesn't look like I'm wearing eyeshadow or I can add deeper shades for volume. It was the perfect replacement for my Sonya Kashuk which is no longer available. I absolutely love this set and will buy it again.

These colors are very good! Matte finish and compact has many beautiful colors. I love browns and blacks because I use them to accentuate my eyebrows. Great little kit, good price and I love the compact size!

I needed something small and secure for my handbag.
