Out of order on my 12 volt system. Not sure if the light broke on delivery or what. I shouldn't have tried to go back. thrown out

I ordered it for my grandfather's motorhome, it arrived crumpled, the mechanism inside was broken. So I reordered, this time it broke again, last time he said I don't need to send it back, this time I wanted a refund, now he's asking to send it back. Won't buy this again.
