These beautiful items are not flashy so they don't detract from the look of the home. We also installed them on the closet/pantry/laundry room (passage) doors to protect him from dangerous things in those areas as well. They can currently be found on drawers, cupboards and passage doors. We love them and they did their job!

I like that they are hidden and difficult for children to open. I also like that they are not permanent on our new cabinets. After being pulled by my son for a long time, they seem to have loosened and fallen off, but there are still plenty of stickers to replace the lock. Just make sure you keep the key in a safe and adult accessible place!

Installation takes some training but if you follow the instructions carefully (including the time it takes to install before turning on the lock) they are AMAZING! They hold up well, are invisible from the outside of the cabinet and are actually less open than other styles, which helps protect against pinched fingers. We have already bought them twice and will be ordering more soon. I want them on every cupboard and drawer in my house.

I actually bought these to keep my cat from opening the locker that keeps her food and dog food. He would open it at night and 2 cats would ambush it along with our German shepherd. This product really helped us protect our closets from children. I'd recommend lining up the pieces as best you can, but if you make a mistake (I've done this a few times despite my best efforts), the glue doesn't stick right away, so I was able to fix the placement without question. What I liked about this product is that it is a magnet and will not ruin the look of my cabinets. I think the glue could be a little stronger; Although it's 3M I had the issue of my 7 year old getting up in the middle of the night and getting snacks from the cupboard and taking them upstairs to eat - that would be chocolate milk in a cup under her bed - a test- Chocolate syrup from my kitchen counter to the sink and tons of packaging under her bed.
