Make a bargain!: Digital cameras

First of all I can tell you that I have admired this camera ever since my husband and I bought it. For the price, it's the perfect little point and shoot. And it literally is. It took fantastic shots right out of the box (well, not technically, but I'll get to that in a moment). We didn't have to fiddle with the settings or fiddle with it in low light. Good price but noisy images

I bought this camera based on the reviews and am happy but not jumping out of my chair with excitement. I've been using it for about a month, mainly in conditions that suit almost any camera: outdoors in daylight. Fully meets my expectations of a good Canon camera.

At the time I ordered this camera, black, there were about 300 reviews, all of which I read. I think some people had legitimate complaints, but after trying 3 other small 5x zoom cameras, 2 Samsung and Fuji for about half the price of Canon, despite some negative comments I decided to give the Canon Elph 520 to try. I was also intrigued by the 12x optical zoom in such a small package. I have two other cameras that I use but wanted a more portable/pocket camera but didn't want to lose the higher
