DENSO 5070 Double Platinum plugs were installed by an Idaho mechanic to replace a burned out Bosch 4041 Platinum set that broke down while on vacation. When I got home I noticed that the DENSO spark plug gap was 0.060. I called DENSO to find out why the gap was so large when the manufacturers spec was 0.052-0.056.
