Terrible instructions and a product that worked fine for a year and then broke.

instructions are terrible, painfully incomplete. However, their customer service was very good and their software was built-in remote support. The ID card reader does what it is supposed to do. Edit: a year later. The product broke because the buttons stopped working. I got insurance with it but they took a week to get back to me and then I had to mail it to them for an unknown amount of time.

Needs many improvements; Tech Support bust

The software for this unit was difficult to set up and was written for Windows 95. The device will NOT get an IP address over a LAN connection, even if configured manually. a device for displaying the time in a format other than 24 hours. But the software displays the 12-hour format. Firmware updates are NOT available to end users, only to authorized resellers. The company gave no other response than denying our download request. It makes absolutely no sense. For example, the sum of the hoursโ€ฆ

Very happy - Accessories

I bought Timeline 100 because we were still using manual attendance cards and I was looking for an automated system. I've seen great reviews on other Fingertec products and all our company needed was a card reader with hour counting software. This system works great for us and saves me a lot of time on payroll; The software is pretty easy with an EXCELLENT support team - they trained me quickly and answered my questions quickly - they even got into my computer and showed me how to set it up. Iโ€ฆ
