I used a flat cane to trim the underside of the wicker seat cover. The thickness was perfect for the old nails I used to attach (just like the original). I will be using the left over roll to teach my 11 year old daughter how to cane. The quality was good and the price was great.

Good description apart from the thin stock. The roll size could have been helpful if I was planning on storing it, but the lack of stick thickness meant it wouldn't work for our basket application. Definitely wouldn't replace a chair seat, but YMMV. The return went smoothly, so plus one for that.

The product description says you don't need to soak this product to make it flexible. It's fairly flexible, but if you need a radius less than an inch, you can try soaking it and then find that the paper backing can delaminate and hidden seams can open up when you bend it. Think of it as thin strips of veneer being butt glued to a backing paper. It satisfied my needs, but only after I realized what I had actually bought.
