Great for subframe nuts

I used this to loosen my subframe and move it back to center. I think this head is definitely for subframe nuts with long chassis studs. Great for one time use and easy to have in your tool box for when you need to craft another stretcher.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some mistakes

It's long but not deep, if that makes sense.

I needed a very deep socket for a Ford CHT sensor. I thought this would work, but it doesn't. This plug is very long, but not really "deep". The problem is that there is an internal "shoulder" inside the nest that is as flat as a regular recessed nest. So it doesn't work for this kind of sensors.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Can't remember

A technician at a tire shop recommended Gray Pneumatic tools as a replacement and after seeing how well some of their 2 year old heads held up I decided to buy some of their products. I bought a set of 1708SN axle sockets and two of their "1/2 extra deep" sockets. I am VERY…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable
