The box says up to 1080p not 2048 (4K standard) but it supports the latest HDMI2.0b, 4K standard. via my surround speakers and my 55 inch LED monitor to play Syberia (a PC game). The graphics are great and the sound is superb. I will definitely buy this brand again if the need arises.

I bought a brand new 65 inch LG OLED TV connected to a 2012 Pioneer Elite receiver. I upgraded the receiver to 4k but used an older HDMI cable. It worked and the picture was good. Then I ordered this latest/great HDMI cable and wow what a difference in the picture. This difference was day and night. I would recommend This cable was cheap compared to Best Buy, quality is great, ordered another one :)

cable looks good, is durable and perfect for the job. On the box itself it doesn't specifically say in the printed text that it's 4K ready, but 1080 HD ready, maybe reusable box? However, it has an additional label that says 4K UHD Ready, and the cable itself has the letters 4K UHD printed on the connectors. I connected it to a 4K capable switch and used a 4K video source and I got the expected performance when using a 4K resolution and not 1080 HD. So this confirms that the cable does indeed…

Just paid the geek team $250 to calibrate my new 82 inch Samsung. They said and showed me that it was not a 4k TV, 4k receiver or 4k XBOX. Those were the cables I just bought. He pulled out his 18GB cable and showed me a 4k Apple TV showing 1080 HDR as the highest option with those cables. When I plugged in my cable and viola, the 4k option popped up immediately. It's the cables that cause bottlenecks. While these cables are cheap, they are NOT worth it if you want a true 4K experience. Period.

Updated review after 2 months: Worked for the first 2 months then it stopped signaling for about 5 seconds every 10 minutes! So when I play on my PS Pro, every 10 minutes the entire screen goes black for 5 seconds! To make sure the cable was the problem, I borrowed a 15ft HDMI cable from a friend (with a much thicker cable) and it works great. now for several hours.
