This is a fairly simple tool. Every time I change the lighting settings or location, I just take a photo for reference. This makes it much easier to adjust white balance in post.

Once you understand how to use this essential tool, the quality of your photos will improve dramatically. These maps are very small, so you'll need to zoom in to have enough space in the image for the camera to recalibrate the white balance. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be amazed at how much better your photos look. I'm glad I bought this. Correct white balance is of great importance.
