This kit was to come with an adapter that could set the inner square to 1/2 inch and the outer square to 1 inch. According to Karen Kay Buckley's website, "as of November 2015, an adapter is included." I think I'll have to pay extra for this piece as I need the outside square to be a full inch.

This was a huge waste of money for me so I had really high expectations. I wasn't disappointed! I don't know how I've managed to quilt for all these years without this handy tool. Get a small hammer and keep it in a square box. It's much easier to press it down with a hammer. It's well built and accurate. The box is made of thick cardboard, but it is convenient to store all the parts in it together with the hammer.

If you've been trying to get finicky cutting and found that you need to mark and then cut with a straight ruler, you can now center the ruler over your desired design like a picture frame and cut along the inside edge of the "frame".
