Ease of use good for window bars

I got it today and can't extend it. We've been working on it and we're working on it. Very disappointing. I will not buy it again nor will I recommend it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Good but not great

Tears incredibly easily

If you've hung the most beautiful curtain on this rod, I'd come home every day to find that one of the sides had moved at least an inch. After fixing, fixing and fixing, it landed on the ground within minutes of reinstallation. Trust me there are better pull rods out there and a lot cheaper.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • So far so good

Looks nice but doesn't fit.

very nice drawbar. More like a permanent stick. The brushed nickel is very good. But where I wanted to use it was framed in plastic. Because the ends aren't entirely rubber, it doesn't stick and slowly but surely slides down and then falls into a heap. The end has a tiny piece of rubber in the middle, but the circle around it is metal. If you intend to use it in a plastic window frame or a glossy painted frame it will not stick. Too bad because it looks beautiful. Close, but no cigar.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • hard to remember but it was

Looks great but isn't a pull rod. The pull rod needs a spring, hence the word "tension". It's just a stick that you screw on to make it the size you want and pray it doesn't fall off like this one. Multiple times. Not because the curtain is too heavy, but because it's not a tension rod. it's the worst. It has fallen off so many times because it doesn't have the tension to hold it taut. I almost hit my head a couple of times. Could that be grounds for a lawsuit? Don't waste money.

  • Complete
