The Lume Cube itself should have magnets built into the body instead of the $50 beacon. We have to spend over $80 just to add color gels or diffusers to the Lume Cube. Your money is better spent on the Litra Torch, after all, this flashlight has built-in magnets for accessories. No need for a cage.

I love my Lumecubes. Lots of people buy them for GOPRO and action hobbies, I bought them to replace my entire DSLR and lighting system. With a few Lumecube accessories, like a beacon and diffusers, you can get the same lighting as with a strobe kit. The beacon is a metal frame that you place your Lumecube in to use the magnetic diffusers and other accessories available from Lumecube.

The housing fits the Lume Cube perfectly. I gave it four stars because of its value and the filters and grilles that make the Lume Cube really functional and useful. I say that because the original color temperature and projection pattern are much more convenient to use with diffusion and color correction filters, which also cost extra dollars.
