Description of ๐ŸŒ€ Sturm ER1120PC Milling Cutter - 2kW, Constant Electronics, Price in 6/8/12mm

The Sturm ER1120PC router is a high performance tool designed for intensive use in professional woodworking applications. Used to solve a wide range of tasks: milling grooves and grooves, chamfering, fitting edges and making decorative figures. Depending on the characteristics of the material being processed, the rotation speed is set - from 12,000 to 23,000 rpm. A powerful 2000 W electric motor allows you to process workpieces from wood species of various hardness. Comfortable rubberized handles provide good handling and control over the processing process. To increase the reliability and extend the life of the tool, high-quality NSK bearings (Japan) are installed in the mechanism, a soft start system and a system for maintaining speed under load are installed. For the safety of the user, a transparent protective shield is installed. Specifications Sturm ER1120PC Power, W The power of the router determines its maximum possible productivity, i.e. the speed of machining. The more often you plan to use a milling cutter and the larger the work ahead, the more powerful the machine will be required. However, do not forget that a more powerful model is more massive and less convenient for mobile small jobs. For amateur workshops, a milling cutter with a power of up to 0.75-1 kW is most often sufficient. 2000 Collet size, mm Collet is a device for mounting a cutter. Represents the spring plug with axial slots. The collet size determines the tool shank diameter that can be used with a given tool. The most commonly used shank diameters are as follows: 6 mm, 1/4" (6.35 mm), 8 mm, 3/8" (9.53 mm) - used in light and medium models of routers, as well as 10 mm, 12 mm , 1/2 "(12.7 mm) - designed for the heaviest and most powerful tool. 6; 8; 12 Max collet size, mm 12 different breeds, plastic, non-ferrous metals). For example, for milling plastic parts, you will need to significantly reduce the speed of the cutter to prevent melting of the material. yes Soft start The presence of a soft start is an essential characteristic of the router. without jerking, which will make work safer and more comfortable.Secondly, the soft start system reduces the starting current to 16A, that is, connecting the router to the mains will not lead to overloads in it.yes Maintaining constant speed under load When the load on the router increases , turnover tends to drop. To avoid this, some models of routers are equipped with an electronic system for maintaining constant speed. This system controls the rotation speed

So far, there is little experience with it, but all functions are working properly, I have not yet found any beats Some pros: Good performance, rich equipment, speed support under load, soft start Cons: some screws were torn off from the factory, restored by driving the nut several times, the lift seemed too tight to me (maybe it has not been developed yet)

You won't find a better cutter for the money. Suitable for both amateur and professional work. I recommend the product. Different pros: Powerful, holds the load when milling. I milled oak with a 25 mm cutter to a depth of 20 mm without any problems. At what I tried it at 3 speeds, it keeps the momentum calmly. If fixing the depth of milling with a nut, which is convenient for long-term work at the same depth, or work in the table. Quietly works with a 50 mm wide cutter, which not everyโ€ฆ

Second-rate product, won't buy it again.

Itโ€™s not suitable for leveling the surface. After milling, there are stripes that the grinder did not remove the P40 sanding sheet. Before this, there was a Caliber. The strips were also, but not so deep, and the grinder removed them with a P120 sheet. the same plane with the milling cutter, and therefore the cutter goes at an angle. I do not recommend the milling cutter. I will take it under warranty.

Pros
  • Soft start, maintains speed under load.
Cons
  • Backlash in the guides, the springs in the guides wedge, the lower platform is not in the same plane with the router.
