By the way, OEM is

OEM direct replacement. Don't waste your time with other brands like Monroe - you end up having to add shims to keep everything tight.

Pros
  • shock absorber
Cons
  • long delivery time

Buy Genuine Parts - Powertrain Products

I didn't buy these genuine shock absorbers to begin with. I bought Monroe shocks at my local parts store. I HAVE TO BUY THESE! They were also at the best price. I've paid more for Monroe shocks. Monroe shocks don't hang around like OE shocks. If you do not get an original part, you will need washers, lock washers and nuts. Now I have to disassemble the car and do everything again. Just advice for those thinking of using something else. Much luck.

Pros
  • Dampening and Vibration Control
Cons
  • New Competitors Appeared

Best quality shock absorbers

Great shock absorbers, they are like new on my 2014 Ford Fusion SE. At first I went with another cheaper brand but the design wasn't perfect and it rattled annoyingly. I returned them and spent a little more on them and am happy with the ride quality. The nuts on the bottom are pressed into the rod's pin, making digging in a little easier. The only downside is that they don't come with hardware for the top. I think for the price you could at least roll a nut.
